why is that????i went down for a lookthe other day and it looked like there were alot of begginers out there!!!!ive only really kited at melville,goingup wind is not a problem

too many submerged razor sharp rocks

oh, and all those razor sharp shells that hack your feet to pieces....

the offshore side is much nicer to ride, but if u stuff up it drops away quickly... if you flounder out there the current quickly starts to push you to the other side of the river and thats one hell of a walk of shame...

the upwind side has a LOT of razor sharp rocks particularly near the launch area, if you haven't been out there before your sure to find them quick. there is usually a fairly strong current pushing towards the sand bar which means if ur not up and kiting ur just floating to the spit. out the back its pretty choppy and your quickly pushing towards ferry routes and messy wind... your better off further up the river imo

Watch out I smashed my leg on the rocks there. Not a beginners spot in my opinion
