mornin all. just wondering if anyone is going for a kite at runaway bay today. im still learning and not confident enough to go out by myself just incase things go pear shaped. cheers!

go to a more populated spot like wello or brighton/sangate if you are new,
all though you might get under the skin of a few locals at least you have other people out there to help you out if you mess up. And it's shallow.
Dont be afraid to ask for help at the beach.
99% of people will always try to do the best they can to look after you.
If you dont ask for help it will not be offered be honest and you will be suprised.
This is a very helpfull sport...

By Runaway Bay you mean 'Shearwater' Today there is now wind predicted,however most windy days you will find some one there riding.
Remember Shear is tidal dependentand works best on an opposing tide.
