Let me know how much (or little) merit this idea has,
and if anyone has tried it.

feel free to give me plenty of **** too

I saw the sports guy on sunrise this morning at moomba using what he called a "stunt-ski".
I would describe it as looking like a kite board but it had single ski bindings (so the footing is directional and the front foot is in binding but the back foot is just strapped)like a short fat single ski with very little rocker.

could this kind of board be used with a kite to any advantage?

thanks

should work in theory but there will be a complete change in body position

Have tried this idea but with 2 straps, certainly has potential but you need a binding on front foot, plus the rear foot needs to be at an angle
more like a Trick ski. And rear heel needs to have lateral support.

I can remember a rear kicker binding that used a very low cut heel that allowed you to bank start and slip back foot in. we used to use an adjustable heel binding folded back down which we reach down and flicked up once rear foot was in.

Board needs to be about 30cm wide and 120cm long, shaped like a very short fat Slalom ski, front foot centered.

lotes of rocker forward of front toes, flat rocker under soles of feet with a tail kick up from behind rear heel.

High speed carve city.

Take ur fins off your board and bring your bindings close together u will get a similar experience.. stunt skis are 70s technology though.
