Yeah think so, have definatly seen people kite there. Looks ok Dunno about to city beach tho as you have to kite through the defence playground, which might be upsetting to some. Great downwinder Swanbourne to Trigg. I'll do it....
I've kited a few times at Swanbourne in front of the clubbies who never gave me any grief. Just don’t venture to far north unless you like being approached by old boys with their half mongrels showing wanting to ask you all about your kite, blahhhh
If the red flags are up don't go North of the nude beach unless you'd like a few 7.62mm or 5.56mm holes in you and your kite - red flags mean the rifle range is live.
Thanks guys...Ill look out for the red flags and the heads popping up from the sand dunes . So dont kite past when the red flag is up with a turban on and nothing else .
gruezi, it's been a gazzetted range template since the 70's - check your nautical charts - it's actually illegal to enter - the range does face out to sea but the sand dunes are used as a "stop butt" - go ahead if you want to take the chance of a stray or ricochete or just get us banned because they get pissed off
