Hi All,
Just got the new switchblade 3, 10m, and on my second time out with it yesterday in 16 to 18 knts (I'm guessing) I just felt really underpowered and at times even had difficulty planing let along staying upwind.
I had it rigged up using the last knot on the rear lines, my query is what are other SW3 owners using ?? I was thinking for similar winds I would try the middle knot and see how that went but just wondered what advice anyone might have ???
I had last years Airush FLow 10m and it pulled like a truck on the last knot, so I spose I thought they might be pretty close , but seamingly not????
cheers for any thoughts or advice, apologies this wasn't written very clearly....

Hi marno,
I assume you mean knot furtherest from kite, when you say last knot. Rig on the centre knot. (the one with the arrow) In really light conditions you can rig on the knot closest to the kite, but it is easier to 'choke' the kite. They do have heaps of grunt. You probably will find it wasn't blowing 16 to 18 knots; I'm 73kg and can get going in alot less than that. Maybe a rip or tide was working against you as well.
