Anyone know how a 08 waroo would fly on 07 havoc bar and lines? are 08 waroo bar and lines majorly better in any way?

As surfingboyo said, give it a run. I use 08 Rev bar on a 06 10m Airush Halo and it works a treat.
No idea what Waroo bar is like however.

Im using a REV bar on a 7m waroo pro, have to attach to the shortest back line length on the kite.
Recon the quick release is just a lot better on the REV bar.
I dont know if BEST changed to a decent quick release on the 08 bars , but the 07 was still just, the pull the pin sheeit.
That was the only sore point I have with an otherwise very nice kite.

Thanks for the help so far. don't have any mates with waroo so I cant really try and see. got a 12m havoc and thinking of buying 9m waroo as second kite. saw a goodie for sale but without bar and lines and at the upper limit of my budget meaning I would want to be buying bar and lines separately. If there is anyone else out there with helpful advice, it would be appreciated. thanks.

the bar for your 12 might be a bit big for a 9. check what the size of the waroo bar is and compare it to your havoc. if the bar is much bigger the kite will turn heaps quicker, and could be a bit twitchy

just bust out the hacksaw and pop rivet gun, better off with a shorter bar anyway

The Waroo 08 will work with any 4 line bar that has equal line lengths and a chicken loop travel of 45cm. Hope this helps.

For 06 and 07 waroos it is suggested to have chicken loop length of 55cm for max depower available.

Keep an eye on the centre bushing on the havoc bar as they can wear the cloop line easily if they have split or are rough. I think there is also no swivel with the havoc bar from memory but you can easily add your own if you like.

The Best bar pin release system has worked very well for me with lessons and also when I had to use it in an emergency when some idiot flew his kite threw mine.

Hope this helps.
