Just seen the kids TV program on the ABC about the surfing school. They had drama with the kitesurfer tonight, where one of them 'learns to kitesurf' but holding the kite and getting on the board and going. Even more classic is the disaster he has out on the reef and relaunches in no wind - I mean not one hair on their heads is moving, glassy water no wind, and then goes back into shore to raise the alarm. My interest was piqued at this point, but I was disappointed to see he was riding a North in these breathless conditions...not Best.

Very funny though, good for a laugh. And not to sound like an old lady but i kinda liked the program - I like the idea of kids watching stories about being surfing and kiteboarding legends rather than aspiring to having the biggest blower on their bong. You know you are old when you think things are different for teenagers today than they were for you!

I saw it as well and i think the idea of the show is a nice change . but the bit where he got his head stuck in the line was classic.
Personaly i hate when that happens and will have to make a mental note to myself to stop putting the bar over my head insted of useing the harness.
Also i thought it was not the best advertising for North ,dont buy a north bar you might get your head stuck in it . but really if that happened and a gust picked the kite up it would probably take your head off . now that would make a good scary movie .
KITEMARE AT WOODIES [}:)] Comeing soon

Yeah bluewater high is awesome :-D lol me and my bro were almost on the floor laughing when it went from about 1 or 2 knots up to like 12-15 knots everytime they changed camera angle lol...

and then when he jumped straight on the board... (beachstart) and cruised off b4 his first lesson had started... even my mum was laughing...

it might give kids wanting to try our sport false expectations when they do get a lesson... and they dont get to even touch a board....

meh its funny... and still pretty good :-P for a little 15 yr old

hope its windy... lol i having another day off school tomorow
