thx for the replys guys,i reckon lano will be the go!!!
wat would be the most used size kite thu summer up there???
how much windyer dose it get than here??
Hey Graceful,
Usually add 5 knots to the Perth windspeed to get a rough idea of Lano wind. I reckon a 9m is good for most wind for an average sized rider on a twinny. You could do it easy on a surfboard with a 7m.
There are better waves than the main peak which usually swarms with Euros poleys, have a look at the left hander on the edge of the channel upwind of the reef directly upwind of Lano Island.

Just be careful of the slab reef if you get caught a bit deep on the wave.

Lots of other good waves on back beach and other areas. Do a downwinder from Ledge and explore.
Have fun!
