My name is Sam,I came from france and had just arrived here in sydney and I didn't meet a lot of kitesurfers, so I am looking for people which might want to travel across australia and spend much time kitesurfing. I ve been to a shop and the shopkeep told me I had to leave sydney as soon as possible If I want to kitesurf. I ve been searching the forum, but I have no idea of where is the best place to kitesurf in terms of windy conditions... The idea is to travel to some place where there is wind all days not just one day five years ago. I have no mobile yet so feel free to pm me, i ll do my best to get a phone card soon
Agree, Cairns, Port Douglas or somewhere of the like. Peak season will be coming soon, so if you head up there before the crowd, you be able to get a temp job serving beer to pay your bills if need be.
thanks for your answers mates... will look for a van soon and will leave, one more question though, what's going on here with wetsuit ? It's really expensive, 300 $ for 3/2 mm ??? Is there a way to get some wetsuit at a cheaper price ( ebay except ) ?
hows this... went to the local markets on saturday and some old dude was selling used wetsuits from the back of his car.... some real flash ones too... i never remembered flouro neon colours being so flouro... or neon... found this long arm short leg water ski wetty thing, with a zip down the front, and drawstring type straps on the legs.... and he wanted ten bucks...!
