I must finally conquer this thing they call kitesurfing. What I have been doing it kiteflying only. Where should I go to live this stuff for 4 full days during the Easter longweekend break (6-9 April)? I live in Sydney, will drive if within 4 to 6 hours, or fly if in Eastern States.
Please advise. Thanks.

The fastest way to get kitesurfing with the least pain is to get a lesson from a qualified instructor, the NSW instructors can be found here

Line up a couple of hours lessons and then get their advice of where you can safely practice on your own. Outside Sydney would probably be best as the learners spots in Sydney get very crowded.

If all yout going to do for those days is KS then try the guys at Cross Shore in Tuncury. Couple of good spots up there.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Looks like a trip to Forster over Easter break is a must. Now need to buy a kite. Naish Boxer SLE or Airush Flow SLE or Best Waroo... hmmmmm.

Give Glen a call at X Shore, they're holding an Easter Kiting Weekend where you can learn, very good value and definitely worth doing.
Look on the General Kitesurfing Forum and go through the past few pages....there's a post on it.
Have Fun.

I recommend you get a Monkey Griffin. I bought a 12 today and it flies great! Looks solid also. Much Much beter than my old 14 C. So much control and power, also turns really fast. Costs much less than most of the other BOWS. I can't wait to get it on the water :P
