I usually have a winge at topics kinda like these so dont get offended, but as was stated after my last winge quite tactfully by someone else..
its not really 'considered good etiquette' to publish openly the potential of a location.
-What you are broadcasting could be some ones local and they like it quiet.
-That one week you explore in january could set you up for years of joyous uncrowded kiting trips.
-It may be a long trip from the major cities now, but it wont always be like that.
I know the area and it is rather nice, bit cold though and there will be **** loads of tourists at that time of year in the water so be careful.
By all means hook up with crew if you need the saftey of other kiters to be around but you wont make any long term friends getting specific... exploring is far more rewarding..
A sandbank appeared on our south coast last week, just a few of the locals for a couple of days then one facebook photo later combined with schoolies and wammo its a circus the next day...
I know your just excited....
me tooooo
