If you mean green island south coast nsw in front of lake conjola...All ocean beaches south of sydney only work on onshore winds , noreast south or southeast which are say october to early march , thats if they blow . Offshore southwest to northwest in winter is a no no unless you have a jestski supervizing you .Once the heat goes out of summer onshores from march to october may be 15 nots or less .
