Coming home with the bride for Christmas and have booked a place in Kiama for the holiday. Was hoping for some local advise on spots we should try and what we should bring/buy (have read that its hard to rent kit).

We are both beginners and are looking for flat water. As for kit in Dubai I use 17m (as am on the large end of the scale) and the bride uses a 11m winds 12 - 15knots if we are lucky over here.

Was thinking a 14m for me and a 7-8 for the bride? Also if anyone has any kites in the area that they are trying to move would be interested.
