Im heading up to Sydney from Melbourne for work.
Im after flatwater spots, any suggestions (and best wind directions)? What sort of winds I should be expecting (I only want to take one kite with me so which size you suggest)

North of the bridge you'll find only wave spots (unless Dee Why lagoon fills up after heavy rain) and usually less wind than south. Around Botany Bay it's a little bit more windy and usually quite choppy, but with a low tide Kurnell and Towra can be very flat.

Hope you'll bring the wind with you, hasn't been that good lately (apart from that freak 35+ NE last Thursday
