Hi there , I'm heading to merrimbula for two days and narooma for two days at Easter , I've looked at the weather and it looks like it's offshore , can anyone suggest any where in that area that will be working this Easter weekend for the forecasted winds , or am I in for a dud , not familiar with the area at all so Any help would be appreciated , cheers

I headed to merimbula as we'll . The wind never picked up didn't get a session in at all

Yep just got home , dudded in a big way , and it was cranking at home , doh!!!!!

I was staying in Towamba and drove into Merimbula sat morning for the south wester..
Peter from south coast kitesurfing gave me some info on spots for SW winds
Top bloke found his number online gave him a call and he was more than happy to help me out . I thought getting out of sydney would get me some good wind !!!

That's bizarre I also got in touch with him via email and got info , I was almost tempted to get the 17 m out sat morning when it got up slightly , but there was no other kites around and decided to wait and see what was coming
May go back if when the merimbula classic is on , apparently it's a cracker and better time of the season for suitable winds ,

No way that's crazy I only took my 7m and 10m left my 17m at home
Wished I had it I would have gone out that morning .
Wonder if we were checking some spots at the same time or just
