Aloha will be visiting in October and I am wondering what kite size I will need. I mainly run a 9 meter in Maui as that is more that sufficient for most of the summer.

Any suggestions on kite size?

I weigh 75 kilos

depends what board u ride. If your on a surfboard you should get some use out of your nine, certainly by the middle of summer(dec-feb)your 9 will get plently of use. but october is the start of the seabreeze season, so they tend to be a bit weaker, usually around 15 knots. I weigh 82kg and my main kite is a 10m, but my 12 also gets lots of use.

Currently I am on a Cabrinha Caliber board, I am going to be getting a Surfboard style board here soon its being custom made here in Maui. I am getting it for wave riding so I will have both options.

I am really liking the Crossbow however I rode on a 12m Switchblade that thing was pretty nice too.

Surfboard allows me to get more use out of my 9 is what I am hoping. I am also not liking my twin tip in 3 meter seas... that was pretty radical today lol.. I plowed into a few waves hard and crashed.
