Hi everyone,

I arrived from Brazil last week and there I was used to kite every weekend. I had 3 North Vegas (7, 9, and 12m).
I've seen that the wind here in Sydney is not so strong, so I am wondering what kite sizes do you use.

Also, having a 7m makes sense?
In Brazil I could rarely kite with a 7, something like 10 days/year, but these days were so awesome that it ended justifying the value of an extra kite.

In addition, I noticed that Botany Bay is one of the favorites kite spots for flat water. What are the best wave spots for kitting?

Lastly, besides the "Buy & sell" section, where do you recommend looking for new and used gear?

Cheers,
Franklin Dattein

the winds will turn up very soon we should be getting strong westerlies from now on. Boat habour is the place for any possability of waves anywhere.

Off shore flatens the waves.

I want to organize a trip to the entrance for some speed trials it the best place this time of year wind get up to 120 km/h 4 days out of 7.

you will need a 6m I'm getting a 2m for the really strong stuff, turns me on just thinking about it.

Thanks!

Apart from the sydney area, what are the closest wave locations?

I was used to drive for 6 hours to catch good waves at Ibiraquera beach, in Brazil. It seems that the Sydney crew needs to drive for hours, too.
