there's quite a few great spots nearby.
Flat(ish) Water -
Moona Moona Creek in Huskisson
Lake Wollumboula at Culburra (gets crowded quickly)
Callala Beach

Waves
Shoalhaven Heads
7 mile beach (Berry turn off) for a great downwinder to Shoalhaven Heads

If you want to meet people, Huskisson is probably the best place as it has a large regular friendly crowd and a kite school.

Collingwood beach (Monona creek huskisson) would have to be one of the best flat water spots around. Spent 4hours foiling here today, don't know why I'm not here more often.
