i kite occasionaly on the central coast when i stay at my mates at terrigal. i have kited at wamberal in nor easters. catches wind swell when there is no surf on other beaches.big beach with plenty of room.had some really good days there last summer. nor easters are pretty consistent from around oct till feb. there is a shop called ESS (erina sail n ski) at erina.from memory they stock cabrinha.

ettalong/umina 20mins south is good in southerly winds.

there are lots of beaches between cen coast and newcastle good for kiting. if you contact mark at ESS he will prob be able to give you much more info.

Thanks for the info but a change of plans now I'm defiantly moving back to Sydney at the end of October just in time for the summer season i'm thinking that Narrabeen will be the closest beach to where i will be living (Chatswood) i cant wait to get to know the local crew and hit the waves.
