Mate, the one thing it is though is it's quiet. The pond got out of hand just before I left, and there and Woodies are the only real flat water spots to ride in Perth. There's just something uncool about noobs riding in offshore winds that gets me all worked up. I'm in Arncliffe so been smashing Dolls and another not so "secret" spot. I've been keen to head up to Swansea channel and also down to Wollongong to ride at Windang. I normally try to get tucked in the top near the groin at dolls for unhooking. Its actually not a bad flat water spot on a low tide, but can be busy with noobs. In terms of a semi decent kite spot within 10 mins of driving it beats living in Perth for sure, you normally had to drive around 45 mins to get to a decent spot if you lived in the city. The blokes at kiteppower are all pretty decent and fun to knock around with, and all the locals are pretty friendly as well.
