A buddy and I are just getting started kiting in Newcastle and are looking for a good spot for kiting southerlies for a beginner to intermediate kiter. I know Nobby's is ok for SE (only kited NE here so far) and Squids Ink is ok in SW but what about straight southerlies? We have had a look at Marmong Point but was a little worried about launching there.

Try Birubi at Anna bay for a southerly.
