Any opinions on boat harbour this saturday with the SW winds... worth it?

Hi glen I think it will be worth it tending s towards the afternoon I'm going to the end of greenhills should be a good afternoon taking my 12m and my 10m though as could be gusty

Verdict not entirely successful, wind was great plenty of power on a 10m tge surf was about 5ft and as I'm only a 2 months in learning I decided that I wasn't ready to take on waves that big as im only just getting the hang of it on flat water but another 5 sessions or so and I'll have a crack but it was awesome conditions saw a few experienced guys ripping and having a ball

Question: can you drive to Boat Harbour with a normal car ? It's a Subaru impreza so AWD but low ground clearance...

Yep a subie would be fine pending on how much you care about the car as salty sand takes its toll
