I can understand why the seasoned veterans can still be frustrated with NSW's fickle lightish weather, but it has improved and for me on Saturday was the first day I ve got out and didn't suffer a total drop out the breeze allowing me to do 2 X 4 hour sessions and whilst Id love to be giving my 12m or maybe 9m a go, my 17m Zepher provides plenty of lawn mowing power!

The day only really fell below 12 knots whilst I was in having subway in the car with heater on, some called me a girl but I ate my subway in 27deg simulated tropical Jeep. The average was around 14 knots and peaking just over 20 at one stage.
To carry on from another post of mine, as it got over 15-16 knots my big board @46 wide still gets a handful and as per advice I have been swapping on the beach to my Cabrinha custom with the ride and edge grip being chalk and cheese between the two boards as the wind gets over the 16knot range. (really enjoy every opportunity to get on the rockered board). But got to say given quite few more hours over the last week under my belt, my ability to hold the edge on the bigger board as the wind hit the upper band has dramatically improved from a personal point of view, mainly based on I was better able to stay in control or able to regain control. But getting off the LW board is certainly an objective as the rockered board is just dam nice to ride when powered up.

As said, 2 x 4hr Sessions was had with me being totally exhausted after each but the stoke overrides pain so push on! The objective of the day was to nail my transitions turns and whilst Im not going say I am now a transition turn mistro, I did successfully manage to nail a few good fluent turns with the rest being something that almost resembled a turn, then there was a number of miserable fails which I passed off as accidents that nobody saw.

All good loving this sport, cant believe it took me so long to do it.
Kite on guys and remember 80% of the joy is just being out there the rest is just the cream on top.

Sat in car eating lunch, who said it was my car.
Pretty big assumption that, like most doctors mostly only guessing!

Cant figure out a way to get the plank video off facebook messanger, into youtube and then onto seabreeze at this moment, but here are some clips from earlier that day and the previous day:

Board is a $25 piece of 1220 x 610 marine ply from bunnings that I cut into a fish shape and put some leftover glass and epoxy onto.

Youve got a real men on men thing happening in your mind.

Just saying, and everyone knows a jeep is a woman shaggers car, not like yr yellow vw, but u come out of the closet in your own time. Awesome level of conversation you promote, not really my thing so I won't respond again unless you want to discuss kiting or something remotely interesting to me.

G'day guys,

I'm new to the central coast area, keen to catch up with some other Kiters, plan some downwinders and beers!

I'm living at The Entrance, I've had a small session right in the entrance like Richoa which was great (walking distance to home ;) ) and a couple sessions at Canton Beach also keen to try Toowoon bay on a quite day. Been eyeing off the coast for some downwinders looks like it could be a good area for that.
Toowoon bay to Norah Head in a southerly looks like it might be good.

Forecast is looking good so I'll probably head to canton beach this afternoon, (12m Cab SB) hopefully the wind picks up a bit.

Cheers hopefully catch up with some of you
