Hi there!

As I'm completely desperate about the fact that wind blows during weekdays, but goes away for the WE's, I'd like to know if there is any possibility of thermic wind around Sydney?

For example, this Sunday, let's say that seabreeze anounces 12 knts NNE wind, 25 degress, the water is at 17 degrees. Is there any chance of getting a thermic wind between 15 and 20 kts???

I suppose that the seabrezze model doesn't take in account the thermic wind, that's why I'd like to have the experts of the region what you think about it

If there's any one that wants to give a try on Sunday to go to Bottany Bay or Cronulla, I'm up for it... I live in Tamarama...

Thanks' for your help and your advice!

Cheers'

thermic or thermal..?

if you know your spots you might catch it for the fleeting moments it lasts, if your spot is conductive to a thermal increase that is... otherwise work weekends and kite during the week, its not brain surgery frogman.

You can use a foil and get out in any wind any direction. I was out on the water power yesterday in 5 knots + it's no rocket science. so was Big boy, we where the only ones out, he was at cronulla and I did the bay.

can't understand why nobody is catching on ??? and you can get a Panch 10m for like $400 delivered?? And it in takes less than a min to set up!!

It's that easy

Hey!

Thanks' for your answers... Have to think about a foil but its's really expensive!

I'll head to Kurnell this afternoon, hoping the thermal wind will arrive by 3pm...

If any wants to join me and give a try, I'll leave from Bondi by 2pm...

My number: 04 twenty 38 sixty 2 82

Cheers'

Greg

PS: I don't have a car so if any one wants to do it by bus, I'm up for it

Hey!

went to Cronulla yesterday, not much wind (10-16 knots in the gusts) but they were good conditions to make my first try with a surfboard, and strapless!
I went with my 11m Bandit, and I can't wait to experience surfing again, with a bit more wind! 6.6 strapless surfboard, AWSOME!

Still have to improve the jibe which is pretty tricky!

See ya!
