Hi, my wife and I will be visiting our daughter in Sydney and taking a small vacation around the area with her, from March 24 to April 6. Will be in Bondi for first 3 days, then driving up the coast to Byron Bay and Brisbane for 4 days, flying to Melbourne and driving the Great Ocean Road for 3 days, then back to Sydney for 3 days. I'm wondering if it would be worth bringing my kite gear with me. Is there much chance of getting wind in those locations over that period?

Any info would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Mike

You're not one of the Beastie Boys are you?

The season of reliable seabreezes is drawing to a close for Eastern Australia, I'd suggest that the chances of you getting wind + the complications of lugging your kite gear = not worth it.

Here's some info for average winds across Australia
