Hi there,
I'll be in Sydney for a vacation in Dec-Jan. What would a medium to good day bring in terms of wind strength at Botany Bay?
Cheers

if its hot and dry then you'll be getting 15knots by 1pm and closer to 30knots by 5pm. But only if its HOT HOT HOT

Botany bay is popular because it gets a great deal more windy days than anywhere else in Sydney. But its flat water.

Kiting is not allowed in Manly when the flags are up.

Long reef and Narrabeen are good spots on north coast. (30 mins from city centre)
Botany bay is most popular spot on south coast. (30 mins from city centre)
