forget about it, I tried a few years ago, it is really gusty, not many good launch spots, really gusty.

Go along and watch the windsurfers riding there on the next westerly, they are always getting yanked around by the gusts, it is much worse with a kite.

Travel to Picnic Point instead, MUCH better wind and safer spot. Or try boat harbour down south. Both spots on the www.nswkba.com.au site.

Winter winds will start soon from the West, and stay that way, apart for occasional SE until about oct when the NEs hopefully start. Water temp will get down to 14C in winter I think. Need a steamer.
