hey kiteboarders,

im a quite experienced kiteboarder and new in sydney. This weekend I had the problem, that I wanted to go kiteboarding and as I arrived at Dolls Point the wind had just died down...
I live in Belmain and I dont have a car. Public Transport is just a pain!

I would be extremely thankful if there would be somebody who lives near Balmain and could give me a lift occasionally when there is good wind. We can share the gas!

Im desperate for a nice day out on my kite...

Just wirte an email to
[email protected]

or post in here.

thx

Hi Chri,

Your best bet would be to get to the Southern Sydney Kiteboarding Club meeting this Wednesday night and meet the locals, they would be able to help you out. Unfortunately winter isn't the best time for kiting in Sydney, but there are a few people who do trips north or south to find the wind.

Also check out Robs site www.kitesurfing.com.au you can sign up for the forecast emails and he also organises day trips away.

I kite northern beaches and travel up the central coast lakes over winter, I'll try to remember to post here next time we have a trip planned, this sunday might be good.
