Any possible danger involved from the storm? see no forecast of lightning.

ive been thinking the same, cant see any threat of electrical activity in the warnings, but cold front going over particularly warm front got expect unsettled behavior. Maybe watch it for a couple of hours to see how varied gusts are in strength and direction.

would be good to hear from some experienced guys?

Ask yourself the basic questions:

0. How hard is it blowing?
1. Is it super gusty or steady?
2. Are there other kiters around if I need help launching?
3. Do I know how to self launch?
4. Is it too dangerous to self launch?
5. Are there other kiters out and are they struggling?
6. Do I have the right size kite?
7. Do I have the right size board?
8. Do I go open ocean or flat water?

They are talking 4m swell tomorrow .... so I am thinking flat water (Botany Bay) or wave protected spot (Toowoon Bay or Umina) if the wind is South, South East.

If the wind is South West, Swansea Co-op, Yarra Bay .....

When I first started I was cautious on the big days, and waited for an experienced kiter (for questions and assistance).

And when everything goes to ****e, pull the safety!!!!
