HI All
I have a problem with this kite. when you have it parked at 12 it tends to go right over head and then loses line tension so it stalls. its pretty annoying for obvious reasons. apart from that its ok. I have seen this a few other times when on the beach with other people and always assumed it was the persons fault for being a poor flyer. but now that it happens to me I realize that is not the case. power adjustment does not seem to make a difference. I don't want to fiddle with the bridle adjustments unless essential. any ideas?

I saw you out that day, did not look fun at all. Check out this thread below, there are a few tricks you could try.

It is, and you are.

Don't park it at 12, keep it moving and it won't fall out of the sky.

The kite is overflying,
backstall is generally in lower winds and too much backline tension, by adjusting atb or btb trim you can see what's reqd ,always be ready for a quick backward step to prevent the kite from stalling & dropping , I used to add a little pigtail on my 5th line to give me more grunt and found that my kite would overfly when parked overhead, certainly check equal line lengths , or fly it at 11/1 oclock
