Can you tell what year kite is from serial number?

Can you tell what year kite is from serial number?

Interested to know,, any ideas how to tell year of manufacture for kites? Besides looking at the receipt?

Colour combo and specific detailing tends to change year to year.
If you can post a couple of photo's then someone will be able to identify it.

It looks like a 06 model, not 100% sure. could be 07 slingshot like to have a lot of different colour combos.

na man pretty sure my 11m is an 07 and its got different writing and a different colour scheme

The 07 range had different printing on the wingtip. Hope this helps.

Yep, looks like an 06 from those pics, thanks,, will see if I can find an 07 to compare writing...

Yep, found some pics, the writing for the 07 is on the end of the wing, 06 further up.. Still a good grunty kite though....

Assume last owner didnt know the difference?

Assuming the 06 / 07 theory, the previous owner may have bought an 06 model kite from the shop in 07 and hence thought it was an 07 kite perhaps?

Hi Dave,
Your 7m fuel is a 2004 model, the "fuel" font for each year is slightly different.
How much did you want for just the kite?
i dont need the bar, i have several bars already.
