Coming to a close of my first season in FNQ. I did lessons last season.
Bought a new 2015 Ozone Catalyst 12m in April and used it pretty much every windy weekend possible except where other commitments got in the way. So over the 6 months that's probably averaged out to 5 days a month.
It's taken me from body dragging to getting some pretty crazy air last few sessions. Love it. I've only ridden some other kites from my instructor and I'm still much a noob so I probably couldn't feel differences in kites anyway.
You probably can't go wrong with either.
Thanks mate. Appreciate the feedback. Catalyst was my first choice and then I came across the Radar; can't say I have heard anything at all bad about the Catalyst. I did buy an Ozone trainer kite as well, so maybe should be loyal.
Either way I will decide tomorrow as definitely getting something. Shame wind is looking average over the weekend here in Sydney. I will be itching to get out there once I get it in my paws.
Have a great weekend.
