Hey guys wanting some advice on attempting to make/complete my first jump. Nothing to severe just a bit of air time to get started. From what ive read i need to gain some speed before quickly bringing the kite back up to 12 and pulling the bar in to gain power?? Does this sound right? Also when I land where should I be pointing the board etc??

If anyone can offer a step by step guide or just some useful hints or common problems beginners face Id be very grateful.

Here's a primer article:

Hope it helps... I'd reckon if you can get access to flat water, you'll improve at twice the speed than learning in chop...

Enjoy .. Lozza

dont let the pulling the bar in thing confuse you.. this will come naturally.
make sure its quite windy....... trying to jump in underpowered conditions l... is just harder to get right.
