Hey,
I have a normal twintip with a petex base. When I got the board I sanded the base to get rid of some scratches on it.
However that has now gotten rid of the original rough texture which i believe allows it to acquire less friction??
I was just wondering if it is possible to fix this by sanding it a certain way, or with certain grit sand paper or anything else??
Cheers
Don't worry too much about it. Get a smooth surface and then it should be alright. If you deperately need a rough surface coat it with hammertone finish. My TT for instance has a smooth surface. Also, people ride all sorts of **** e.g. fridge doors :)
Actually, I never heard about PETEX, but if this is similar to what ski's have on their surface then this might help or may not?
