I am 57 kilos male, want to buy kite that can help me JUMP ( next stage)

I have been kiting couple of years with Cross BOW - 7 meter now I have sold that and want to buy 8 ( my first pref) or may be 7 meter again. i cant afford 2 kites otherwise 7 and 9 wd be great

I kite at City Beach ( not downwinders)

Can someone suggest

Used Kites Options for under $600( my budget ) at sea breeze and gumtree

1. 2012 Cabrinha Switchblade
2. 2012 Air Rush Varial
3. 2011 OZONE C4
4. IKON
5. Anything you can suggest wd be great

Ozone Edge!.. May be a bit out of your price range but it will send you to the moon and easy on the landings

Can you jump on the crossbow?
They jump Ok
Don't waste ya money on a fancy jumping kite if it's technique thats the issue.
Learn to jump the crossbow and spend your cash on a second kits size

Sorry saw you sold the crossbow
Options aplenty then.
I like my switchblades for a bit of jumping, you won't go to far wrong with them

All kites will allow you to jump, however some are easier to achieve decent height with little rider technique or input, rebels, edges, switchblades, lf nrg, naish draft etc etc, also no real technique required on decent, you also need to be nicely powered, the crossbow will give you decent height so technique or wind strength will likely be the reason

I was going to say the same thing, if I was 57kg I'd be more worried about not coming down!

Keep kite, get a board that will, or learn to, hold your edge prior to leaving the water.
Learn how to throw your kite.
Sounds like technique. Talk to locals who can jump. Everyone is generally happy to help.

1. 2012 Cabrinha Switchblade

By my calculations, at your weight (and assuming a possible gain of 1 to 3 kilos) up to 60kg, the Switchblade in 8mt or even 10mt will definitely get you kiting in moderate winds up to around 20knots max. And boosting big air time.

But you have to learn to boost (aka jumping) by learning Load and Pop (plenty of utube videos on how to do it).

If you can't jump a Crossbow, you can't jump.

Gear won't help of your technique isn't any good.
