Hey guys.
Well, I am jumping when I really want to jump, and at other times I just love having fun jumping from one wave's crest to the next one behind it for fun. No great height, or boosting or posing in mid air or any of that Jaspan stuff. Just little hops so to speak.

Is that a nooby thing to do, or cool to some?

Well. It depend on the wave height and swell period! if its a 30 second gap and 1.5 head plus then jumping from one to the other is down right extreme! and potentially dangerous.

If the gap is 1 second and its a knee high wave then not so extreme.

But I still enjoy it. It reminds me of mountain bike double jumps.

I love to go it in small and big surf!. Its even awesome to boost off one face then float, glide and land on the next face and ride it too the beach! that is super cool.

Also I like doing a Rally over whitewash. .... not piddly white that you can easily just hop over. the shoulder high and bigger stuff.

Ditto. Great fun! and maintains board speed instead of slamming into the waves...
