I've been trying to master kite loops & down loops over the past month with moderate success. I've found down loops are pretty easy on my 14m and 9m but sometimes i get completely thrown off my board on my 7m.

I think it may have something to do with how far I bring the bar in vs out. My question is, when down looping, how would holding the bar in vs out change the intensity of the loop? Does pulling it in make it more powerful or loop any quicker? change the radius?

cheers,
Dan

Sheeted out will be less power but more sustained as the kit will run a wider arc

some kites turn or loop with more pull than other styles of kite

is the 7m kite style different to your other kites?

Yeah, 7m is mid aspect. I find it tends to fly through the window rather than pivoting on its wing tip like my other kites
