I wish these had been around when I was trying to learn to water start last year. Watched all the Progression Basic DVD and everything else I could find but for me it was eventually learning to know the relationship between the kite power (my front hand) and my back heel that really made it all come together. I think being able to look down and see the board and then look up to see the kite like you can here in these 360 videos might have helped connect the two and saved a lot of false starts. With VR not so far away now (You Tube have just added a section for Android devices using the Google Cardboard system) I'm thinking there will be some great uses there for teaching the basics and self monitoring stance etc. Chuck in some sensors and force feedback and you have the makings of a teaching system (people are already using VR for rehab etc).

If only I could find a lake with hills like shown in the vids I wouldn't need the kite!
Seriously - that wide angle just does my head in and I cant see how it could be of much help to learn anything!
