G'day ,
I have just bought a p.l twister 2 (4.1) meter to help me learn to fly kites (before getting kitesurfing lessons).
The first time I flew it I had huge problems launching it, after rising three or four metres off the ground it would immediatley flip and drive itslef into the ground.
When I got it into the air it flew well, but for some reason it was only controlable after the lines were crossed over (after it flipped around on takeoff).
The lines were attached to the right places and I tried the adjustment on the centre lines but I had no luck .
Help?

If youve got the kite lines the right way round it sounds like too much tension on the brake lines try shortening the flying lines on the leaders and this should work prob ony a couple of inches will do it,are you flying on a bar or handles?
Too much brake line tension and the kite will just launch spin and crash.

I am using the bar that came with the kite.
When you say shorten the flying lines at the 'leaders' is that where the outside lines connect to the bar or where they connect to the bridle on the kite?

Is it the peter lynn bar with the fixed centre power adjuster, and a fixed harness loop,if so you can either lengthen the center attachment to the brake lines at the bar end or shorten the steering lines at the bar end, both will do the same thing.
