Hey All,

After any tips or tricks regarding rotating when boosting, i have backrolls down pat and front rolls as well.
But have the nasty wakeboarding habit of pulling on my front hand when rotating (unintentional looping of the kite)
I want to be able to boost and rotate and not get spanked on the landing. I have noticed people sheet out when doing this (and also people who don't), i am guessing this is to minimise the kite movement.

Anything else???

Cheers in advance

Sheeting out will help a little however in the future you will want to keep the power in the kite, especially if your doing wake style tricks.

Best thing you could do is keep your hands as close to the center of the bar as you can. This will make it harder to move the kite. Another thing you could try is centering one hand and letting go with the back or front hand depending on the trick.

Hope this helps.

I am at the same kind of stage at the moment, and can land boost rotations maybe 50% of the time. I was getting spanked a bit as well in the beginning.
Once you launch and start your rotation, wait until you spot your landing before you tug on the front hand. I found it that when I dove the kite any earlier, I would be in for a really rough landing.

I used to always back loop the kite with the rear hand for back rolls (which is good for now but bad for then) A mate who is a great kiter told me to let go with the back hand when taking off, so I guess you'll have to let go with your front hand? I still landed like crap when I was doing this but it taught me to be sensitive to the pressure, left or right or straight out power that I was applying right through the jump
