hi guys
i am having some trouble with betting my load and pop style jumps big enough to start trying some basic tricks.
i am able to leave the water and land but seem to be getting very little height or hang time.
does anybody have some tips or pointers?

much appreciated

Ride faster, edge harder! Bear off before edging.

Think of it like a skateboard..

Try to 'ollie' off the water..

Keep both knees bent a little when you load the pop also..

If you're leaning too far back with too much of an edge you won't pop at all..

Practice your pop without moving the kite too much (have kite parked at 11 or 1) so you can get the technique done...

Just keep trying to pop over and over on a run and you'll get it soon enough.

Since your only Starting it always helps to find a little ramp or chop to launch off, including what the fellas above have said

Sounds like you gotta go a it quicker, make sure your kite is on the wakestyle setting if it has one, freeride setting kills the pop
