Hey guys,
i've got a kite given to me, '9m Naish 2 line 5.4 projected kite' (not sure on year but feels relatively new, still crispy and no signs of wear really) but the valves seem to be two way, in the sense that you pump it up and by the time you get the plug in, it's half deflated because the air's escaped. is this just this model or are they all like that and i just need to be quicker?

Also the pump i got given looks like it's meant for blowing up balloons. what sort of pump should i buy?

Cheers

That would be the 2001 vintage AR3.5.
They did not have a separate deflate value therefore no one way valve.
Dont use it, you will only go downwind and hurt yourself.
Get yourself a new kite no older than 3-4 years old and you will get a proper pump with it.

Congrats you're still in the sport at your age, a credit to yourself.
The two line would probably be an upgrade on your crossbow.
Go for it I say...
