Due to a recent ankle injury I have decided to try kiting in boots to give my ankle abit more support. I have narrowed to down to two types. Ronix frank and the LF cradle boots
Having never kited in boots and only wakeboarded a hand full of times. Just wondering if anyone has used either or both?
Thoughts?

Wait for the 2013 Ronix, due out in stores mid September. Really nice and a better range of boots for kiters. The Franks are nice, worth looking at the Cell too. There are a few changes to the 2013 range. Would recommend over LF boots.

The cradles are light and easy one handed on/off. Pretty flexy though. You might want to try something a bit stiffer if you're after support. Maybe LF ultras.
I've never tried franks. You're best off going to a wake shop to try on as many as possible. Just get what fits well and gives you the support you're after.

I love my franks for kiting, the cells are a bit stiff in my opinion. The ones are the next best step up if you want a bit stiffer boot. Love the ronix for how light and versatile they are. Enjoy boots mate, but look after your knees.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'm in mackay QLD for work at the moment. So I'm going to go have a look at the wake shop here and try some on to sort sizes out and get a feel for the different boots
Cheers huddy.

Ronix are super light and the cushiest boots i've ever stepped in.
