The conditions were 25-30 knots SE on a Sunday morning. I was out on my 7m Speed having a blast at 9:30am in the morning at Caloundra, QLD!!

I wanted to put up the P3 10m but wasn't sure of the conditions having not flown it before. Around lunch time the conditions seemed a bit more steady at 25 knots.

Finally time to give the P3 10m a try. Lauched the kite, very surprised . With it fully depowered there was absolutely no pull from the kite which instilled some confidence straight away.

Out on the water, took a little while to trim the kite to get the power/depower balance just right with the bar in the right position. The bar can be a stretch but when its trimmed properly its OK. Once I got it right this allowed for plenty of depower during the occasional gusts still coming through. It took a little while as I'm use to riding the P2's bar against the gust absorber which isn't on the P3.

The kite is very stable in the air even with the occassional gusts still punching through.

I did several tacks to get use to feel of the kite, then it was time to try a jump. What an amazing feeling , very floaty with nice hang time, or at least thats what it fealt liketo me. After about 30 mins on the water I'd say I was jumping higher than I have ever jumped on any kite!!

I had plenty of depower left in the depower strap so I reckon this kite will be good in 30+ knot conditions which I think is awesome as I'd usually be on the 7m Speed.

I have yet to fly the kite in light wind conditions to see what its bottom end is like, all in the good time...

About me:
I'm a 75KG rider with about 4 years experience. I ride a cardboard 128x39cm board in all conditions.

Anyway, the P3 10m has well and truely replaced my P2 10m, what a difference.
