Tried one on at the shop and thought it was super comfy but it still has firm support like a C-1 or Ride Engine (the Ion was the least stiff of the three).
The on-the-fly adjustable rope length was an interesting feature, but I wasn't committed to just hooking my c-loop to a rope, so ended up getting a C-1. For me the the C-1 may be a little too stiff, so if I switch, the Ion would be my next choice.
