Hi All,

I am comming into Melbourne from Toronto, Canada for six weeks this Jan. Could anyone tell me the best places for kitsurfing in the surounding area? . Also, what kind of conditions do you have this time of year. Wind, water temp etc. We will be doing a 15 day road trip up to Sydney along the coast, any advice on where to kite surf would be appreciated.

Cheers

Try and stop into Inverloch on your way through - mecca of kiting.

Also Merimbula, Pambula where Mambo kiting festival is held each year.

Yes I have heard about Inverloch. Will definetely check it out.

What sort of winds do you get in St Kilda this time of year? (Knotts)
Is the water warmer in the bay than on the ocean side? How cold?

cheers

You should contact RAL INN about his Sandy Point week the last week of Feb. that would cap off your stay just nicely.

just search Sandy Point on this forum and you should get what info you need.

Freed.
