I'm alive [}:)] And the conditions were off the show. It hit 38 knots at Devonport and the local Airport was saying 32knots, but in a NW it sits behind a mother great rock called Table Cape and the white caps were getting flully blown off, so I dunno but it was BLOWING!
I had full depower on the 9m and pulled some of the maddest jumps of my life in the overhead surf. It was seriously blowing, and the kite was rock solid, never once did it hint at misbehaving. More c kite like to control in these winds, eg: edgeing hard.
MC: Went out yesterday with a guy on a 15m and me on 13m. Both of us were staying upwind and similar boards and weight. Probably dropped down to 12kn in the lulls, it was hard to see the advantage in the 15 in the lighter winds coz it turns slower. The 13 turns 'quick enough', eg: you're not constantly asking it to turn quicker, you're backing off first, if that makes any sense. The 9m is really, really quick, but you'd expect that.
Packs away a treat. Got a strap to hold the kite, bag is plenty big enough, get awesome repair kit with sail tape it that actually works, even a sand bag you fill with sand to hold the kite down in the carpark etc! Oh and a keyring.. yeah pimp that ride.

Haven't had invert lines get in my way yet. You can take em off if you like. This kite has hands down bought a damn big smile back on my face and a huge confidence boost in not having pulleys.
Go for it MC.
