Any one had any trouble with the depower straps on their shockwaves? my straps wont budge no matter how hard i try to move they dont loosen up. And any one know what the kites range is (12m), i was out the other day and it was only 25 knots and had to ride with the bar constantly past the stopper. The back lines seam alot tighter than all other bows from different brands. Any help? cheers.

Your strap most likely wont move because you didn't rinse it in fresh water after your last session.
In 25knt You will need to set the kite up depowered on the knots when you hook the lines up and depower it at the strap. This will allow you to pull the bar a little closer.

thanks jason, i did wash the bar out with fresh water after using it and it did help a little but still very stiff. Does it have to be ratcheted back and forth to move like other naish straps? Do you know what range naish recommends for this kite? My raven you sold me is still going strong and very glad i got it from you guys, matt.

There is a neoprene cover over the strap. It sometimes gets in the way so I'd recommend removing it. Not sure if thats the problem

Yes the neo is only there to keep it looking neat.
Manufacturers wind ranges are only a guide and I take them with a grain of salt. 25-30 knots should be about right depending on ability, weight and board size. Over 25knt a 12m SLE or bow will still give
The Raven only had a little use as Gav went straight to the new model when it came out, so you should get plenty of life from it.
