Need to get a new wetsuit and was wondering what people use and their opinions on brands and thickness? Mostly be in Botany. Price isn't so much of a concern as performance and suitability.
Thanks guys

I have had the same Mystic suit for 3 seasons now with no problems. It has the velcro ankle straps that allow water out which most of the major 'surfing' brands do not.

Its a 4 / 3, which (with a rash vest) gets me right through winter in Victoria.

Not cheap but is a dedicated kitesurf wetsuit with stitching and reinforcement in the right places (under harness rub points etc) which I hope to get at least another coupe of seasons out of.

Worth a look.

Rip curl E-bomb or F-bomb.
They are pricey but you get what you pay for, E3 neoprene is soooo stretchy.

I will never stray again

for botany bay, you won't need more than 3/2 thickness. All the big brands make good wetties these days. The best suit for one person is different to the next, try a few on, just make sure its tight around the ankles.

Hi dinodc,

If price is no concern and you really want the best, then here it is VVVVV Rip Curl H-Bomb. Only $1500 AUD

www.ripcurl.com.au/mens/wetsuits.html

Sweet, just wished I lived somewhere cold enough to deserve such a wetty.

Cheers,

The NPX wetsuit range is great for kiting, drain holes in the ankles so you don't end up with balloon legs.

Happy with my ION Strike Overknee. It's got quite a few kite orineted features like pads on the ribs, grippy material where your harness sits to keep it in place, and the cutoff calves.

Plenty warm too.

But, you'll not find a better made suit than the Ripcurl E-bomb. Soooo specky!
