I got myself a rampage 2 in a 9.5m. I have never really flown many bow kites but they say this kite has the feel of a C kite with the benefits of a bow kite. They also claim that with these kites you only need to have a 1 kite quiver! So they have them in a 7, 9.5 and 12.
I have now had 3 sessions on the kite and have been so impressed. 1st time was very gusty and due to the lulls i would've normally been out on my 17m c kite. However this kite handled the conditions great and i was jumping, cruising upwind and handling the gusty conditions far better then the 17m c would've.
The next session was in a good 15 to 20knots and the kite went off. My only problem was i was getting to much hang time, (it might be time to bring out the board offs again). I also did a bunch of unhooked moves which also felt great.
The third session was very light winds, i should've used my surfboard but thought i'd try the twinny. I was unable to really kite so i tried my 17m c kite but i still had to go downwind.
I think it would be fair to say that this kite could pretty much be a 1 kite quiver.
The kite includes:
-1 pump system
-no pulley bridal
-Nice back pack with board carrier
-big pump with steel shaft and pressure gauge
Not included is a bar however i highly recomend the cruise control bar by wind wing. This bar has heaps of de-power and it stays where you left it so after doing a back roll you don't lose all your power when you spin the bar back. (this pissed me off when i tried the other bow kites)
Cost $1000 aussie approx
Bar cost $300 aussie Approx
Anyone interested in flying this kite is welcome to have a go. I am usually kiting on botany bay most days of the week.

After a few more sessions I have started to figure out all the adjustment points. I know think that this kite has about as much power as many other 14m kites. It really has a massive range once you figure out all the different setting.
